Gavin's Award

Gavin's teacher handed each student a unique award. There were most likely to be president, an author, policeman, artist, etc. Out of all of those, Gavin was given "The Funniest." What the what??!!

Karebear and the Clan

Karen and the kids made it down to Illinois. We couldn't help but joke that she had to escape the cold and snow to come to Illinois for vacation. We enjoyed 70-degree weather, pedicures, creme brulee coffee, and of course, just the time together. The kids had a great time, too. These visits are never long enough. Looking forward to visiting them in MN this August. Whoo hoo!

The Great Escape

We made it to the Dells last month in order to minimize cabin fever. It was a blast!
